Remember moviecritic.com?

Well... I really loved that site. You could rate movies and they predicted what you will think of other movies based on your ratings and the ratings of everyone else.
But it was shut down.

Now, I found this one:

movielens.umn.edu

It has more features that moviecritic.com had, and a better search engine. Go check it!

Yeah, I remember MovieCritic.com. I rated sooo many movies there and then they shutdown, just like that. (How long ago was that - 2 years ago?)

NetFlix has a rating system that tries to do the same thing, so that was my replacement.

Yes, I liked moviecritic and thought it did a pretty darn good job of predicting which movies I would like.

Netflix does not do a good job of predicting.

I wish I had known that moviecritic was going to shut down so I could have gone in an mined out all of my movie ratings. It takes a lot of time and thought to rate hundreds of movies!
