how much sex/nudity in THX1138?
somebody at my school wanted to know since they have kids that kind of want to see it. some t&a is fine (airplane!, amadaus, ect) where its a couple of flashes, and maybe one or two prolonged shots (shining), just as long as there isn't graphic sex (basic insinct, monster's ball, eyes wide shut, ect) or anything like that.
so, how much nudity/sex is in the movie?

I can't remember what it is, but once soneone showed me a website that was designed for the exact purpose you are talking about. They gave film reviews for parents that gave listings of all the "bad" content. Anyone know what this was?
The MPAA lists THX as:
Rated R for some sexuality/nudity.
Previously rated (GP) in (71).
If no one helps, I'll report back after I watch it this weekend.

I haven't seen the Director's Cut yet so I don't know if they added any or not. All I can remember from the theatrical cut is the holographic stripper, and then another scene where a guy and gal are both naked but you really only see them from a distance. I think there might have been a love scene too, but nothing too bad. It's not like softcorn porn or anything, if that's what you're worried about.

Well it has about 3 scenes of LUH being topless and a few rear shots of THX. There is also a naked woman hologram that THX watches while a machine... helps him releave stress.

Well, there is also a scene of THX looking at a naked woman hologram while beating the bishop, so to speak.
This is definitely not a film for the kiddies. They'd probably find it boring. Some adults may even find it boring. Rent first.

Christianity Today has a review of it.
Here's the relevant part for you:
Here's the relevant part for you:
THX 1138 is rated R for some sexuality and nudity. The sexuality is less than what's typical in a PG-13 film or television, but the nudity goes far enough to earn it an R rating. It's primarily used in scenes between THX and LUH to imply that they have had sex, though there is also a newly restored scene in which THX is aroused by a holographic nude dancer. While the scenes aren't "essential" to the film, they're not gratuitous or exploited either, included to contrast "Eden-like" human contact with the cold and sterile technology-driven world that the characters inhabit. THX 1138 is intended for mature viewing audiences; besides, most kids under 15 will be bored with the film anyway.
