How about when the crooks were looking for Frank and they beat up one of the kids then Frank asks him "Why would you take that for me after all the trouble I brought you?" and the kid says "Because we're family".

Frank Castle is no longer frank castle. that's the point of the punisher. He died, all that was frank is dead and he is now THE PUNISHER. He's not suppose to be like spiderman who goes back to people who will treat him like a human. He is just a machine now punishing anything and everything that is bad. Simple as that. To make him go back to those who accepted him would be to go against what the character is all about.

lol, not real family.. They meant he's one of them. The people living in that shithole apartment where noone cares about them and all they have is each other to look to for help and companionship.

Mr. Literal has just stepped into the forum.
I wonder if this guy's ever seen a 'confusing' movie before.
I bet he'd have a ball with Donnie Darko or Memento.

Damn... I consider myself a master of the obvious therefore I'm inclined to back you guys up and since I haven't seen the film, I can't really comment. But I guess once I do I'll understand all the lambasting of this poor guy who seemed sincere in his question....
