Full Metal Jacket question..

At the end of Full Metal Jacket:

Spoiler:
Is there a female Vietnamese sniper from the top of an old building who is picking off soldiers? I remember seeing this scene in some war movie and I wasn't sure if it was Full metal jacket.

Thanks!

1.33:1 is it's original aspect ratio. It was originally filmed full-frame.

From: Bartertown due to it having a better economy than where I really live.
if someone using an AK47(not the most accurate rifle out there, not horrible, but not great either) can really be called a sniper, than yes it's in FMJ

"If they run, they're VC. If they stand still they're well disciplined VC."

"How can you shoot women and children?"
"Easy. Don't lead them as much."

Spoiler:
Cowboy's death scene is one of my top five favorites ever! You can actually see the soul leave when Arliss Howard does that life leaking out thing with his eyes. Absolutely awesome work by all involved as well.

If I remember correctly she's actually using a Dragunov sniper rifle, which looks very similar to an AK (all Soviet rifles looked similar the AK for years) but actually is very accurate. I could be remembering wrong though, thinking she should've been using a Dragunov.

What a coincidence, I'm seeing Mathew Modine on the DL! We should double sometime.

She wasn't in FMJ, but my girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, thought it was one of Kubricks best movies.
