All a teaser poster usually is, is a simple image without the normal movie credits at the bottom and an approximate release date. This would fit, even if a fake. I'm not sure what people were expecting as a "teaser poster". It's not a "teaser trailer".

I liked the poster, fake or not.

I don't know, :hscratch: the lettering makes it look like a musical.

Well, we've still got around a year before the movie is out. I doubt PJ will take the route of giving himself juicy cameos in pivotal roles like other directors *cough*M. Night Shymalan*cough*

I'm looking foward to this movie, I'm sure P.J won't disapoint.

Rivero thanks for posting those pics, they are awesome.:) I can't wait for this movie, (though I have my reservations) and I just watched the original '33 classic for the first time on TCM, and I thought it more than lived up to its classic status. I was amazed how the filmmakers with limited technology made the audience care for the creature of Kong as an emotional and misunderstood creature, and not just play him as a monster. I hope Jackson's version can bring some of that magic to his film.

...don't know why they trusted an unproven director like Peter Jackson to deliver on this one. The guy's only made like one movie, which he apparently forgot to edit.

I'm definitely looking forward to Kong. It will be interesting to see what Jackson can do post-LotR. I'm sure he knows the expectations and will go all out to impress. |
just a play on the Joss Wheden thread. BIG BIG BIG PJ fan here.
