Wow...no kidding? I would rather sit through a five-day Paycheck marathon than be subject to another watch of A Sound of Thunder. Seriously, all those movies you mention have much better acting, special effects, directing, action, and carry-through. (And yes, I can't believe I'm saying such things about a Ben Affleck movie, either). Seriously, A Sound of Thunder was SO bad...it made even bad Sci-fi channel movies look good.

this movie had a very interesting plot that was done rather poorly.

You nailed it. Talk about having potential.

This movie was awful. The only satisfaction I had from watching this film was knowing the production company who made it went bankrupt.

Re: A Sound of Thunder

I just finally got around to watching this film since I'm in a Catherine McCormack phase right now. I bought it used for $1 since I didn't want to rent it for $2.

Holy...shit! This is one of the worst films of the decade. I couldn't finish it. I had to turn it off after 45 minutes. How did this movie get released in theaters? All of Peter Hyams' previous movies featuring special effects were not problematic. I don't get it? This should have just played on the sci-fi channel in the 90s, not in 2004! Wow. I'm speechless.
