Magnolia
I have to vote Color of money....but probably just because I love The hustler so much.
Magnolia, just about brings me to tears in the end.

Far and Away
Jerry Maguire |
He's pretty good in Magnolia.
Born on the 4th hands down.
When he's praying at his bed before deciding what to do is a great scene. The sheer variety he has to play in this movie (high school kid, warrior, cripple, advocate, druggie) makes it his best, because he does all of them believably. Stew |
I'm gonna say Magnolia. I've liked him since Interview With A Vampire and will always have a soft spot for Legend, but I think he did his best work there. After that movie, I was just like, "You know what? Tom Cruise can really act."
Haven't seen Born On The 4th Of July yet though. K |
What, no Collateral? What about Top Gun, Days of Thunder, and let us never forget the classic Cocktail.
I'm gonna have to say "Interview with the Vampire". That was like my favorite movie of all time. Of the newest releases, I also thought "The Last Samurai" was quite good as well.
I wanna say his best was Vanilla Sky with the mask on,damn, didn't even need to see his face and he managed to convey alot of emotions into his performance. Thought he was really good as Lestat too.
Collateral
The easy choice is Collateral.
He was one cold hearted son of a bitch in that. Great performance. |
