hands down..."Hellboy"
I had such trouble getting through the whole thing. The same scene repeated over and over!! It was excruciating and I was hoping for the best in this one.

While it may not be the worst movie of all time (I truly believe that it is up near the very top, with Patch Adams, Hanging Up, and Remo Williams, to mention but a few), Catwoman is the most recent terrible movie that I have seen.

Not a lot of you have probably seen yet alone heard of this one, but Kaena: The Prophecy, which is a fully computer animated film ala Final Fantasy, was one horrible piece of junk. You'd think they'd spend more than 10 minutes on the script before plunking down a wad of cash for the CGI

Crossroads...
On a bus trip to NYC, they popped it in and the sound was so loud I could actually feel Britney's annoying voice slicing through my brain. I prayed the whole time that the bus would crash and I would be put out of my misery.

Extreme Ops like Thanksgiving 2 years ago was the worst, and gosh did it blow hard. I also have hated My Boss's Daughter recently and Club Dread. The most recent was Timeline, it was so stupid, boring, and awful. I was also disappointed in Spiderman 2, but by no means is it a bad film.

I know this probably isn't a popular choice (in fact, this is it's first appearance in this thread) but I really truly deeply despised "In America" Felt nothing for the characters, hated the direction, and I hated the fact that in the very first frame that Djimon Hansou was in, I knew exactly what purpose his character would serve, and what would end up happening to him.

it was really the last quarter of the film that took a swan dive into extreme silliness/absurdity/stupidity - the film tripped onto itself and got all art farty pretentiousness that seemed to come out of nowhere, it was enjoyable up to that point.

The Village.
Saw it today and absolutely hated in. Not a single redeeming quality IMO.

It was the height of "lazy filmmaking" if you ask me. While I can not speak of anything good about the film, I could go on all day about all of the bad aspects.
I rarely "HATE" a film, honestly. If you knew me, you'd know that when I go to view a film, it is in my nature to look on the bright side of things. If I hate one aspect, I will overlook it as long as there is enough good there to focus on. That can not be done with this film, for me, however.
There just isn't anything good there at all to hold on to.

In my defense I was stuck on an airplane and they passed out the headphones for free.... and for good reason.

I'm really suprised in some responses, I liked quite a few of the ones you guys mentioned...lets see, Secret Window,Bad Santa,Spiderman 2, The Village, Hellboy,Radio,Starsky and Hutch.
But a couple that were terrible that come to mind....
Van Helsing (fell asleep in theater), Along Came Polly, Hulk
As much as most people hated The Village and as much as I liked it, different people just enjoy different things, I don't wanna say this but I'm sure...well nvm I know there are people out there who liked Van Helsing,Hulk,Catwomen etc...
That was just on my mind

I know that is contrary to popular opinion, but Shrek 2 was absolutely awful! I was so put off by the recycling of the story, with the exception of puss in boots (which again has been overrated). I think that I've grown weary of sequels, I want some originality...I don't even know what I expected of this movie, but it was a huge disappointment, nonetheless. 1 star.

The Punisher (although it got some things right, the lame sitcom-y stuff with the Punisher's neighbors and the overall bizarro plotting really sunk this one)
Jersey Girl* (the little girl was good, everything else wasn't)
Starsky & Hutch* (I love Ben Stiller & Owen Wilson, but this disappointing comedy vehicle was poorly written through-and-through)
The Chronicles of Riddick (the more I think about it, the more stupid it gets)
[*saw both on a personal video screen on a plane. Scooby-Doo 2 was also playing and if I had watched more than 1 minute of that, it would definitely be on this list.)
