If Leonardo De Caprio accepted American Psycho?

How do you think the movie would have turn out?

Would it be better or worse?

Interesting question, in my opinion nobody could have done better than Bale but De Caprio would prob. be pretty decent in the role.

From watching the Beach, he's clearly capable of good "insane" acting but I think he would fall short with the subtle acting i.e. the mannerisms used by Bale when being questioned, all the dialouge to his victims, the original trademark look Bale gave the film, and of course my fav, the maniac chainsaw scene.

Probably not half as good as Christian Bale did. Bale has always been such an underrated actor.

Mark Wahlberg would probably be playing Batman

Bale fit the role perfectly. Not sure if Di Caprio would be a convincing 'psycho'

If he had pulled it off, he may have gained more respect as an actor.

Bale was great.. hard ta imagine anyone else doing that role.

I think he would have pulled it off and "American Psycho" would have made more money.

I'm sure he would've done well in it, but he wouldn't have done the great job that Bale did.

I wonder how the film would've been with a different (and better) director and writer attached to the film. Keep the cast, just hire new crew members.
