Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, then again I've only seen it and Dogma

Now by View Askew film are we talking about:

1. Films strictly in the "View Askew" universe.
-- OR --
2. Films produced by View Askew Productions too (like Jersey Girl, Vulgar, A Better Place, Drawing Flies, etc).

Either way, Clerks is still the best out of all of them.

Ironically, the only one of those listed I don't own.

I dislike all of Smith's movies. Mallrats is probably the most overated movie of all time. Clerks is a close second. They just aren't funny.

And before anyone jumps on their threadcrap pedestal, keep in mind "these films suck" was one of the poll options.

All great movies IMO.

I picked Clerks since it was the first one I saw.

I would say Mallrats is my second favorite

Ive always liked both Chasing Amy and Dogma equally. All the others were pretty good except for Clerks, that movie sucked!

I'd have to say Clerks is #1 with Jay and Silent Bob in a close 2nd.

Clerks. Its the funniest and most quotable. Followed by Chasing Amy which was just a great story. Followed by Mallrats, J&SB:SB, then Dogma.

Chasing Amy just for the whole "Star Wars is racist" speech by Hooper. Classic. Jason Lee was at his best in this film.

Other than that distinction, I'd have to say that I enjoy them equally. But just for grins, here's my ranking:

I love them all equally, so it's really tough to pick. So I'll go with Strike Back, the reason being Eliza Dushku.

I love them all too! Jay and Silent Bob does stand out for most laughs.

i like them all pretty equally. you have to take them for what they are, just a guy making movies about the things he loves. they aren't masterpieces by any means, just good for a few laughs

If this question had been asked even 5 years ago I would have probably said Clerks, but I found that as I've grown older I dislike Kevin Smith's films more and more. I guess tastes change, so I voted for "these films all suck".

Glad there are some more votes than my one for Chasing Amy. Story, dialog, characters, minimal Jay & Bob. It has it all. My favorite.
