Many things are wrong about the prequels... beginning with the time frame. Obi-Wan and Anakin age A LOT in 30 years...

I'm worried about the new changes Lucas will make in the original trilogy...

That's quite an understatement considering these movies have been with us for over 25 years now! It's natural for people to find things to nit pick. After your upteenth viewing of the movie (any movie for that matter, if you watch the movie enough times) you will naturally gravitate your senses to pick up things that are minor in detail, and pick up on things that went by unnoticed before. You already know the lines, you already know the action, and you already know the main elements of the movie. Of course people are going to watch these movies after viewing them several times and think, "Wait a minute" on some of the finer details. What else do you expect??? It's not fanboyish, it's just friggin natural!

This is probably one of my biggest bitches about the Prequel Trilogy.

It's like, during the Original Trilogy, we kept hearing about the glory days of the Old Republic, and all of these wonderful, awesome, Jedi Knights.

And what do we get in the Prequel Trilogy? A bunch of old guys in bathrobes wandering around a big temple like they can't find the TV remote.

"I can't detect anything..." "I'll look in the library for it..." "I'll have to ask my Master first..." "Gee.. I don't know..."

What a bunch of dipshits. They deserved to be wiped out.

Even in the video game Knights of the Old Republic the Jedis are on their last leg and limping badly. The dark side followers are killing the Jedis and letting the force sort them out. :lol:

No, what you've heard about is these films show the Jedi in their prime, and you've seen that. You've seen that with the lightsaber duels. You'll see that more in Episode III with the Jedi in the space battle, and in more lightsaber fights. Whereas in the original trilogy, you saw two very old Jedi near death and nowhere close to their prime, and a young boy who wasn't a Jedi until the end of the last film. Even then he didn't receive the kind of training Jedi did during the height of the Republic.

You also have seen the height of the Republic.

And you've completely missed the most important point. Palpatine is the Emperor. He's far more powerful than any of the Jedi. You'll see when he pimp slaps the wisest, most powerful Jedi of all. That's why they can't detect him. He's clouded their vision. It's even mentioned in Episode II.

calhoun, it's not natural to obssess over every little detail of 3 movies for 25 years.

I got a better question. How come the ONLY one he could sense was Obi-Wan? His freakin' son, along with two robots he previously owned, and perhaps his old friend from Episode III were on board. And Vader had to order a couple of guys to get out some bulky equipment to SCAN THE SHIP???

You can't sense a robot, and he didn't own R2D2. As for his son, he didn't know he had one. As for Chewy, from the spy reports, there is absolutely nothing to even suggest Anakin meets Chewy. He sure as heck isn't a friend. Not only that, Chewy is not a Jedi. Then again neither was Luke at the time.

Vader and Obi-Wan were Master/Padiwan earlier in life and that relationship builds a "special" bond between the to. So I think this is how I think Vader was able to sense Obi-Wan

Take a pill, dude. Asking a couple questions about a movie regarding some minor details somebody notices after watching something a few dozen times over isn't "obsessing over every little detail." Geezus ficking Christ.
