Wasn't Peyton Reed(Bring It On) attached to this for the longest time? I wonder what happened.

Perhaps I misspoke. Dammit. Nonetheless, I still wouldn't have hired him. Astin should look into making some smaller films first anyway. At least one.

I think Chiklis is a great choice for Grimm. He's a little on the short side, but that can be worked around. He DEFINITELY has the acting chops for it.

Now that's just weird, I swore I pasted that url directly from Astin's page. But you know now that I think about it Alec Guinness could be good too.

I heard that they were casting Michael Jackson for this role. Oh, whoops, that was the "Human Touch."

Actually, he did briefly have the role as "The Human Torch" . . . it was for a Pepsi commercial . . .

Maybe I should have actually read the article (or noticed the ? at the end of it's title). Apparently this is a miniature model that may not even be used in the movie.

'Nicklogan' sent Superhero Hype! this exclusive look at a maquette of The Thing which was on display at the recent International Make Up Artist Trade Show in Pasadena, where it was announced that the team who worked on the Hellboy special effects would also be creating The Thing in Fantastic Four.

It is possible that the character in the film will look exactly, somewhat, or not at all like the maquette shown. Tim Story is directing the Marvel adaptation at 20th Century Fox for a July 1, 2005 release date. No cast has been announced yet.

The Thing always looked like a "s hit monster" to me. It's rock right?

Not bad. It looks better than the Thing in that first FF movie.

I thought the suit for Thing in the other FF movie looked pretty good, even if the rest of the movie looked bad.

Pretty good design, provided they make it look more rock-like in the end product. This version's a bit too glossy/shiny to be convincing.

The head's wrong. I always liked the Thing with the prominent brow, which is how he's usually drawn.
