Munster (movie poster parody)

Or "My First Photoshop." Critiques welcome, but please be kind!

This idea came about after a customer came into the video store I work part time at and asked for the movie Munster. I swear to God, they said, "Munster" when they meant "Monster." Of course, that got me to thinking.....

Can you be a tad more constructive? I know the face for Eddie didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped, but finding decent images of him online prooved to be more difficult than I imagined, especially a head shot at about the angle I needed. I could not get the colors of his face to really turn out the way I wanted to, either, but I was working from black and white pics from the get go, so I think they turned out better than I expected. I just had hoped Eddie could have turned out better.

You could have made them entirely B&W. Munster isnt even centered correctly. You already mentioned the Eddie. Lily's head looks like its off too far to one side. The heads and the text are pretty much all you changed and those two things arent that special.

Extra point for doing the research on Yvonne DeCarlo's Tony Award history.

Calhoun, with Photoshop (or pretty much any picture program), there is an option to rotate, flip, and re-angle an image any way you want.

EDIT: here's a very rough example. I did this in about 20 seconds. Given more time, I could probably make it look much better:

Yeah, I tried that (trying to match his head angle to that of Christina Ricci's). I touched the pic up some. Maybe when I have more time to goof around with it, I could search some more for a better pic to play around with. My retouching looks a tad better, just not a whole lot better.

And, of course, I fixed the typo, but am not going to repost the image just for that.

It kind of looks empty. You need more clutter to make it look like the Monster DVD cover. Like putting Yvonne and Butch Patrick's names between the award banner and the photo, and putting in some sort of phony critical blurb at the bottom. You should also find a better source pic of Eddie Munster. I like the idea, though.
