[SPOILER] No Mans Land HELP
I got a question, at the end, the guy on the mine is not saved, then the film end. Why is that? Only because the can't defuse the mine they let him die there??

Yes. It also represents UN¡¯s lack of sacrifice to bring order and peace while the guy stays as a metaphor for hopeless conflict between two sides, certainty of death and lose. That is my interpretation of the film. Plus it makes a greater ending.
