I suffered through the entire movie and even sat through the credits hoping for something worthwhile. But there was nothing. And thus I wept. |
Well, finally saw this one too. It was very good as a character / dialogue driven movie, reminded me a lot of Clerks.
Here's an interesting piece of trivia: Jon Heder was paid $1,000 to play Napoleon Dynamite. The movie grossed over $40,000,000 in the United States. Don: Hey, Napoleon. What did you do last summer again? Napoleon Dynamite: I told you! I spent it with my uncle in Alaska hunting wolverines! Don: Did you shoot any? Napoleon Dynamite: Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that? Don: What kind of gun did you use? Napoleon Dynamite: A freakin' 12-gauge, what do you think? Napoleon Dynamite: Stay home and eat all the freakin' chips, Kip. Kip: Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter. |
The review on here pretty much sumed it up. You either love it or you hate it.
I finally saw this movie and I laughed my ass off! I loved it. |

I think it makes more sense to have a class action lawsuit against God for not giving some people a sense of humor. |
