Uma's joke in Kill Bill 2
Uma tells a joke about two guys in a bar, but other people who saw the movie tell me I imagined the joke, that she doesn't tell a joke......you heard the joke, right?

Seriously, I don't remember any joke in there. I do remember her joke in Pulp Fiction, though. I'm gonna agree that this may have been imagined.

okay, maybe I saw a different cut, but here is the joke:
...so nobody remembers this joke??? or maybe you didn't realize it was a joke because of her deadpan delivery??? or is someone suggesting that the Japanese cut played in South Florida??

Edit: Here's a google thread where the joke is quoted. It was from the 4/14 episode. It's not exactly as you posted, but close enough:
Two men walk into a bar. The first man orders a scotch and soda. The second man remembers something he'd forgotten and it doubles him over with pain. He falls to the floor, shaking, and then through the floor into the earth. He looks up at the first man but he does not call out to him. They're not that close...

You needed to watch the episode and know where the character was coming from to understand that joke. The best part was how it was told. It wasn't something you were supposed to laugh out loud to.

Yeah, that joke was on the television show ANGEL. Wesley is such a damn badass to tell that joke.

As if this thread couldn't get more derailed, I just thought I would comment on Lara's observation of Wes being a bad ass. Having never seen the earlier seasons of Buffy or Angel when they were on TV, I'm just finishing up season three of Buffy on DVD. I nearly fell on the floor in hysterics when Wesley's character was introduced. Exactly how did he go from that to such a bad ass on Angel??? Talk about character development!

It wasn't "character development" at all. It was "let's bring back a character we haven't seen for a while and make him the complete opposite of how he was before for a cheap laugh/plot twist/surprise."
