kill bill music
HELP ME PLEASE!
I need the details of two songs in Kill Bill vol 2.
One of the songs is in the scene were Uma is on the bed with B.B. I know it is "about her" but is that remixed version on the soundtrack.
The second song I need to know is at the end were she is driving her car and the names are coming up.
i have tried IMDB, but Ithey don't list all the songs and they are not in the right order.
Any help wanted, Thanks!

The first song is "About Her" by Malcolm McLean and it is indeed on the soundtrack.
I can't remember what the song was over the end credits, but if you describe it a little I might be able to tell you if it's on the soundtrack.

I thought "Goodnight Moon" played at the beginning? Either way, yeah it's on the soundtrack...and it's actually the first song (second track though).

In Vol. 1, what is the music that is playing when The Bride first reveals herself in the House of the Blue Leaves (and where can I find it on CD)? It isn't on the soundtrack
. Sounds like it was probably taken directly from some old Kung Fu movie.
There's another one I heard in the movie that isn't on the soundtrack either, but I can't remember what part of the movie it was in (how's that for vague?).

I'm so disappointed that "Death Rides a Horse" isn't on the soundtrack CD. It's a great piece of music, is perfect for the scene, and I find it playing through my head quite a bit (especially if I've recently watched the film).

Do you guys by any chance know what song is playing when Bill goes to Budd's trailer in Volume 2? You know, when Bill says "That woman deserves her revenge, and we deserve to die..."
#10
That's a Robert Rodriguez special. You can hear it on the KB2 website flash intro
http://killbill.movies.go.com/vol2/flash/
I have the MP3 of it without the Bill voiceover. Email me if you want it.

Thanks matome. I was going to ask that very question myself. I remember that it was mentioned in one of the very numerous Kill Bill theads, but I dreaded having to start sifting through them all to find the link.

No prob. If you really want to go crazy with the songs you can head over to that site's message boards where you can see where the truly fanatic KB fans are ("best giggle" poll, anyone?) and hang out in the music section where people swap songs that have been edited to match the exact version played in the movie. Not that I'm in that group or anything.

So does anyone have the complete list of music from both films and the order that they appear? I'd like to use my two soundtracks and other sources to make a proper "chronological" soundtrack. Thanks.

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood-Santa Esmerelda [O-ren/Bride snow fight]*
Watch this again on the DVD and try singing, "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like, it's better than yours..."
It's almost as good as the Dark Side of the Moon and The Wizard of Oz

Great list matome.
Too bad that the soundtrack CD didn't have the music for the Shaw Brothers intro and "Our Feature Presentation". That would have been cool. Anyway, it would be nice to know which music cues came from films and what films those were. I took your list and added those I could think of off the top of my head (in bold). Can anyone add to this?

What's this "Demise of Barbara"? Is that the showgirl that gets shot in Navajo Joe? Because the music (In the movie)
only plays when Joe kills the baddie with the axe. It isn't featured anywhere else.

It's from the Italian soundtrack of Navajo Joe (track 9). I haven't seen the movie so I can't help you out there.

cultshock, The Sunny Road To Salina is, I believe, from the soundtrack of the 1971 film Road to Salina.

How's about an old thread bump?
Within the past few weeks, I've checked out some ol' cult classics and had a few Kill Bill bells rang due to the music. Starting with:
It's one of the themes for this movie composed by Nora Orlandi.

Robert Rodriguez neatly added a touch to the theme when Budd returns to his trailer at night.
Appears here as the title theme

Don't know who scores it though.
