Will Passion beat ROTK? How about Spiderman?
I think Spiderman is no way at this point. It's falling like a rock.
But beating ROTK is still very likely.
I wouldn't have believed this at all back end of February.

ROTK isnt in theatres anymore so there's a chance Passion might pass it, Id love it to becaue everyone bagged on Passion and said it'd flop so this would be some sweet revenge for Gibson.

Now there is no way it will beat RotK (in its initial run). Looking at the pacing, Easter weekend put Passion $10 million ahead and the gap has now narrowed to less than $700,000. Passion will fall behing RotK's pace probably this coming Saturday.
Where the huge difference lies is in the overseas box office. Nondomestically, RotK did 740 million and Passion is at 229 million and I would say it ends up at 250 million tops.
Worldwide RotK is going to beat Passion by about a half billion.
