One of those word-of-mouth flicks that did a lot better "on video" than in the theatre... I love it! One of my first DVD purchases... through CDNow using Freeride gift certificates, for those that remember that far back... :lol: *wipes tear from eye*

Same here.

I liked it until the last 1/2 hour, when it got totally unbelievable (I can suspend my disbelief, but there are limits).

Overall a fun film.

The first time I saw it, I was so excited afterwards I felt like I had been injected with horse steroids. It was always a mystery to me why it did poorly at the box office and received some harsh reviews, but anyone I ever recommended it to came back with nothing but praise.

The last time I saw it, I tried to be as critical as possible to understand why others may not have liked it. The best I could come up with was that some of it was a little contrived. For instance,
