Mean Girls - Lohan, McAdams, Fey

I snuck into this after the dreadful Envy as I wasn't going to pay money to see Mean Girls, but I found myself to be surprised by the flick.
The first two acts are actually pretty good with some really great laughs.
"On the third day, God created the rifle so man can kill the dinosaurs... and the homosexuals."
The third act is when the film completely fell apart with it's serious/happy ending. I would love to see a high school film have the balls and not go out with everything "good" happening to everyone. One day, hope hope.
I'd recommend it as Mean Girls is an enjoyable and funny teen flick, but the third act ruined the film for me a bit.

Groucho, you could've also listed.

And Heathers isn't your normal teen flick. I want a down to earth teen flick with a non-happy ending.
And don't say

This is probably the only good movie of the bunch this weekend.
Tina Fey is a terrific young comedy writer, and Lindsey Lohan can definitely hold her own for a 17-year-old, as she did with Jamie Lee Curtis in Freaky Friday.
This is not some SNL-based movie, it has a few cast members, but it was written by Tina Fey.
I hope to catch this soon.

OK, this has nothing to do with the movie, but on the commercial promo for SNL this week with Lohan and Fey, Lindsey's breasts look mighty, ummm....big for a 17-year-old.
Anyone know if they're fake, because they look incredible.
And no, i'm not a sleazeball, just interested in youth surgery...and ummm....things.....ima go now!!

Might catch a matinee of this tomorrow. Gotta love Tina Fey, can't seem to find a woman like her around my parts though.

Missed the Man on Fire show by 5 minutes, and I'm glad I did. Caught the showing of Mean Girls instead, and it was really funny. Lorne Michaels needs to realize that every "SNL" film he produces doesn't have to be an extension of a lame skit.
Looking forward to Fey's next movie, and to Lohan's 18th birthday . . .

. Then again maybe you do...theres more of that sarcasm I better learn to control it.
People don't have the right to like movies you have no interest in or didn't like?

Mean Girls was a fun movie. I caught it at a bargain matinee and thought it was funny and had a lot of eye candy. Glad to see it's doing well so far at the box office.

Saw it. While the last fifteen minutes seemed somewhat forced, I really liked it. If she can keep her charisma and fame in decent shape, I would say Lindsey Lohan has a shot at being one of the top actresses in the business in a few years.
