Eh..2 things

1. I think they should've subtly darkened his hair to kinda give him a more badass/dark soul feel.

2. Much like they did for Magneto/Ian McKellan a few "muscle enhancements" under his clothes would be cool so that he look somewhat "beefier". This isn't that spindly Spider-man after all....

after reading the script. I can't wait for this. Batman isn't suppose to be all beefed out at this point. toned, perhaps, but I wouldn't say beefed out to the max.

either way, God damn I can't wait.

That's why I said "somewhat beefier" and not totally stoked

Watch Bale in the movie "Equilibrium." He is friggin' awesome in that movie.

As for the movie looking to colorful - it looks more realistic. Gotham is not suppose to be like Burton or Joel's visions. It's suppose to be a normal enviroment.

Huh? I'm not sure I would agree with you concerning Burton's version. Burton nailed the closest image of Gotham.

First Bale plays Bateman (in American Psycho) and now he's playing Batman. Coincidence? I think not!

On topic, I think he'll be great as Batman. And also, Burton's Gotham was great. Also, just for the not-quite-fanboys, here is an article about Batman/Gotham which I--as a pseudo-intellectual--thought was a great read.

The picture's in color now. The chest area looks like it's made out of foam. The whole costume looks really bulky.

downloaded the script last night.

trying to resist spoiling the whole thing (like i did with the very first Batman movie all those years ago), but what i read sounds much more interesting than anything in 1-4.

there are a couple things here and there that sound 'off pitch'- specifically Gordon's tone at the end (which comes out sounding like "you brought hope back to Gotham"), but other than that, the film looks to be dense with plot- something the Burton films certainly weren't.

just hope the marshmellow man suit doesn't kill it, the way the Goblin suit in S-M dragged that movie down.
