I've posted this before.. A friend of mine read the script a couple of years ago and loved it. He told me then too look out for the movie, because it will be really good.

Well no, because this is based on myth. Hence an invincible Brad Pitt, a Trojan horse, and a couple thousand ships. It looks AWESOME! Do you really need buzz? Did Clerks have buzz before it was released?

Think of it as more O, Brother Where Art Thou? with Brad Pitt instead of George Clooney and Ocean's 11 without either.

From the imdb.com

Rated R for graphic violence and some sexuality/nudity.

I just can't get over how bad the accents are in the trailer - everyone has these British accents... seems kind of silly to me, much like Gladiator.

Has "The Passion of the Christ" spoiled us on realistic languages/accents?

I couldn't discern any accent of any kind in the trailer(except Peter O'Toole). Brad Pitt is certainly not using a British accent. Orlando Bloom is British and he is not using his real accent in the movie. I think the fact that the dialogue is "Old English" in style is causing you to think the accents are British.
