I laughed my hiney off watching this movie. Which kinda hurt cuz I was really hungover.
You werent the only one.
Please tell me if I have butchered this line by Patches: "You guys looked like a bunch of retards trying to screw a doorknob out there." I lost it on that. Yes, I probably am going to Hell.

saw it last weekend..
well.. i was disapointed.. To me.. it couldn't hold Old Schools jock strap..
stiller was alright.. Vaghn did nothing for me..
There were some funny moments.. but few and far and in between.
Just saw zooleander a couple of days ago as well and thought that overall it was a much funnier movie..

man, that williams guy is a HORRIBLE actor (the black guy on the Average Joe team).
i loved the part about "taking the bull by the horns"
"it's a metaphor. but that actually happened."

I saw this movie last night and it was hilarious. Stupid, mindless physical comedy of watchin' ppl get hit by dodgeballs, wrenches, and cars.
Vince Vaughn was classic and the cameos were great (David Hasselhoff, Lance Armstrong, Chuck Norris, William Shatner).
Plus, Christine Taylor always looks nice.
Zoolander is one of my favorite comedies ever. I loved Old School too. But I didn't like Starsky & Hutch that much.
So I'd rank them: Zoolander, Old School, Dodgeball, Starsky & Hutch.
I'll give this movie 3 out of 4 stars.

I saw it and I really liked it. I don't usually like comedies but this movie just had two things going for it; Stiller and phyisical violence/comedy and it used it to the full effect. I'd give it a B.

oh my god, Rip Torn was the funniest thing in the film, his lines were hysterical.
I have no sympathy for Vince Vaughn after a good friend of mine met him at the filming of his latest film, here in DC and pretty much came across as 'self-obsessed prick' (that's what my friend referred to him as). My friend also got the chance to meet Owen Wilson who he said was extremely friendly and enjoyed talking to everyone, fans and fellow film crew alike.

it was really funny. Ben stiller's finest work, jesus, in a long time. He worked his character on all cylinders and was hilarious from start to finish. I liked that a lot of the humor is character based. Amid all the groin damage there are some really nice bits by most of the actors.
The winner for the best rude sport movie of the decade (so far) goes to... dodgeball!

I liked Vaughn being subdued . . . it was a good contrast to Stiller (who got a little old to me in the end).
On iof my favorite lines (that hasn't been mentioned yet) was "Check out that toss by the submissive!"

Had a great time watching this movie. I was the only one in the theater who laughed out loud at the name of the bar they were drinking in.
I don't know why but that cracked me up.

bloody funny movie, Stiller was over the top but only he could pull it off
Vince Vaughn was funny too
Christine Taylor was cute, rest of the cast had its moments
Rip Torn was also classic as yes i loved the "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball" line

Saw Dodgeball last night...
Was Vince Vaughn alive during that movie? Ben Stiller was just hilarious, but Vaughn was just horrible. He seemed like he was just there because he needed an acting gig. His monotone voice and hardly any kind of expression was quite disappointing.

I thought he was fine too. In the midst of some rather oddball and over the top characters, it helped the film to have one character who was the straight man. he did a good job with that and was still funny. IMo.
