Ok, that's much better. That last trailer makes the movie look stupid. I have hope for this now.

I saw it last night. Looks like they're really going for a story arc with these movies as opposed to self-containe stories, which is good IMO.
The Spidey series is doing things right in the area where Batman did things wrong. The Batman franchise was always about which major A-list star was going to play the villain(s) and never tried for any true level of continuity. Heck, Batman had a different love interest every dang film, and none of them were that well developed. By not getting A-list villains and maintaining a singular story, the focus of the movies shall always be Spider-Man/Peter Parker, not the supporting cast.

I still think it is way over-budget. Thankfully, I still have my job.

Love the whole dark, grimy feel, but they obviosuly didn't spend a lot of the money on proper sound; its ounds tinny and hollow. Dogme Spider-Man? Also, I don't know who thought it was a good idea, but the "audience laugh/wow track" has got to go.

From what I've seen and read, it seems pretty much a guarantee that Venom will be the villian in S3. His alter-ego was already in the first movie (getting fired by Jonah). I'd go even further to say that with Jonah's son in this one (didn't Venom come back to earth from space that) that it will happen.
