Who (which site) has the best movie summaries?
Which websites have the best movie plot summaries? I'm looking for the best paragraph length descriptions.
Here is an example of "Contact" from DVD Empire.com:
Contact, based onitheinovel of theisame name byiCarl Sagan, isitheistory ofia free thinking radio astronomer (Jodie Foster) who discovers an intelligent signal broadcast from deep space. She andiher fellow scientists are ableito decipher theiMessage andidiscover detailed instructionsifor buildingia mysterious Machine. Will theiMachine spell theiend of our world, or theiend of our superstitions? Will we take our place among theiraces of theiGalaxy, or are we just an upstart species withia long wayito go?
I'm trying to find which sites have the best info. I'm looking for more of a professional outline from the movies producers than a web submitted one like IMDB uses.
Thanks.

My favorite site is http://www.allmovie.com. The site doesn't use "official" descriptions from the movie's producers (whatever that means), but it does have good plot outlines, mostly written by professional film critics.

you need to visit kids-in-mind.com--the ultimate site for descriptions of movies (but not summaries)---read their notes on the gore in something like Ghost Ship....if I'm not sure if I want to see something, I check the violence/sex level on that site.
