Great Romance movies for guys who don't like Romance movies

The only Romance movie I out-and-out love is Vincent Gallo's Buffalo '66 and maybe My Fair Lady if you count it in that category.

What other ones are really great? And I'm looking beyond the obvious ones, i.e. Say Anything. I'm talking about movies that are great and happen to be Romances, not ones that tell us lovely lies about the relationships of men and women, or men and men, or women and women.

Another good one is Grosse Pointe Blank, since Say Anything has already been said.

Il Mare.

Great movie as it is, with just enough "fantasy" to really hook you.

I'll throw my vote in for one of my favorites that I always mention in threads like this:

Beautiful Girls

Natalie Portman nearly steals the show as a young love interest.

Don't know if it's a true romance movie per se, but my wife and I both love watching The Thomas Crown Affair (the remake with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo).

Before Sunrise is one of my favorites. And the ten year reunion sequel comes out this year.

I think that is a bit of a stretch... Hey, Die Hard has a love story, too.
