BTW in Night, Dawn, and Day, the true evil was not in the zombies...it was in the f** ked up human factions that ruined everything.

Tru dat. In all 3 it was the living who caused the most damage.

I've come to appreciate the running zombie. More fun and threatening.

I do have a rule though, if a zombie is decayed in Lucio Fulci fashion, then let those guys stumble around.

Spoiler:
My first thought is that maybe when he was human he was being chased by the zombies, so possibly when he had no means of escape, he grabbed onto the overhead pipes. Maybe he hung there for a while, his legs dropped down, got eaten/ripped off, then he eventually turned to a zombie monkey.
Or maybe the producers put no thought into it whatsoever, and just said "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if they don't see any zombies, but out of nowhere one drops from an overhead pipe with no explanation at all of how it got up there?"
