Dawn of the Dead Remake - See the First 10 Minutes Uncut & Uncensored...
Maybe this should have gone in the TV forum, but I thought it'd be more appropriate over here. Anyway, I saw this on a TiVo Showcase:
Or you can view it online:

It sounds like an interesting concept, just hope it doesn't cause a hord of people to show up late during the movie.
See the first 10 minutes only on USA:
Tune in to 'Final Destination' on USA Network Monday, March 15 at 8/7c, and experience a television first. The first, terrifying ten minutes of DAWN OF THE DEAD, uncut, and uncensored, before it is released in theaters March 19.

A) Watching Final Destination on USA.
B) People watching the USA network.
And if you used the search function, there are already threads on this subject.

It was also mentioned in this thread:

And I still think my stab against USA was a fairly comical one.

Sorry, I'm in a shitty mood today.....actually, I did do a search but somehow overlooked it. But to be fair, the other two threads didn't mention anything about it being available online.
fixed.

The link above isn't to the actual 10 minutes of footage, but to a "preview of USA's presentation of the first 10 minutes of Dawn of the Dead". It's a 30 second promo for the event.
Is it expected to change after the event to include the footage?
Also, the expected air time is between 10 and 10:30, so you don't have to watch Final Desitination starting at 8.

That .. exceeding my expectations.
Has the same frentic "WTF?" beginning as the original and a lot of similar static shots.. looks cool.

That was a horrible, horrible idea showing the first ten minutes ...now I'm hooked like a crack addict and can't get my "fix" until Friday.

I did not like it much, not much at all. I had high hopes for this too. I perfer slow zombies but I'm open to fast ones, but not superhuman ones like these. I still have every intention of seeing it friday, but my expectations are quite a bit lower now.

Anyway, I lvoe Romero's shambling zombies, but that was a solid 10 minute beginning. Definately gonna go see this this weekend, and looks to be good. Also like that Sarah Polley too...

I'll give the new breed of faster, stronger zombies a look with this. Didn't look too bad to me.
But what was with the opening word, STRIKE?

Strike Entertainment [us]
Guessing it was just the title card?
Also, on a side note, for some reason the beginning of Dawn of the Dead (1978) always felt a bit odd to me, kind of had the same feeling with this intro. There's a certain akwardness to it all since it just plunges in (to me at least). With the original, I saw it with no prior knowledge and having never seen Night of the Living Dead. As such, the entire apartment complex part threw me and gave me the exact sort of feel that the beginning of this flick has (2004), uncomfortable delight or some weird shit.
