although I love Kieslowski, and Red is my favorite of The Three Colors Trilogy.... I didn't vote for it because even though it is called a trilogy, I don't really consider it to be one. The three films are largely unrelated, totally stand on their own, and are only a trilogy because they share certain themes and are named as such.....so I didn't consider it for this poll......
other big trilogies such as the original Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones......well I might be in the minority (especially with Indiana Jones) but the third films in each of those series are my least favorite ones.......
so I easily voted for Return of the King.....while Fellowship is still my favorite part of the story (the books as well).....and I think Fellowship was also the best film.....Return of the King was a very close second......
