Vanilla Sky

Also really like Jerry Maguire and Magnolia.

I think Cruise tends to be overrated as an actor, cuz he is also a movie star. Those things aren't always mutually exclusive. I didn't really start to take him seriously till I saw his performance in Interview With The Vampire. That movie (along with Se7en) also changed my mind about Brad Pitt.

Guess I'm in the minority; I voted for Born on the Fourth of July.

I voted Other: Eyes Wide Shut, although Minority Report would be my second pick.

BTW, am I alone in absolutely despising Jerry Maguire? (It's nothing more than a smarmy chick-flick with a lot of utterly annoying catchphrases. That's IMO, of course.)

I feel the same way. I rather enjoy most of his films. Minority Report, Interview with a Vampire, and The Last Samurai were some good ones as well.

Out of the one's I have seen:

Taps (1981)
Risky Business (1983)
The Color of Money (1986)
Top Gun (1986)
Cocktail (1988)
Rain Man (1988)
A Few Good Men (1992)
The Firm (1993)
Jerry Maguire (1996)
Mission: Impossible (1996)
The Last Samurai (2003)

My favorite is The Last Samurai or Top Gun and the best is probably Rain Man or A Few Good Men.

Losin' It is great stuff. It's like a Tijuana Porky's!

To me, there are great Tom Cruise vehicles (Top Gun, Risky Business) and there are great movies that star Tom Cruise (The Last Samurai, Rain Man). I voted for Jerry Maguire because it's the best middle ground of the two.
