difference between Wadd (John Holmes documentary) nc17 and R?

I was going to buy wonderland on dvd. As you know, the extras include a copy of WADD the documentary released in 1998. From what i've read, this is the R rated cut, and that the Nc 17 has 15 more minutes of footage? is this true? 15 minutes? or is it just a few extra shots? Can i find the wadd dvd on its own in the nc17 form?

It seems that they cut the really hardcore footage and zoomed in or out and what not...you can tell when ya watch the doc on the disc...but it does show Holmes in all his big glory...whoa...

Was this ever released in theaters, or was it straight to video? If it did play in theaters, was the edited version shown?

I think VCA released the uncut version on DVD before they submitted that version to MPAA and received the NC-17 rating,.

DVD Empire may have it. Check their adult section.

Yeah, the difference probably is "just a few extra shots".
