Simpsons Movie In the Works
Mike Reiss, producer and writer of The Simpsons, says that people within the show have wanted to make a movie out of the series for 13 years. But in a recent interview with DVD Fanatic, Reiss revealed that it might finally become a reality:
I think it's going to be Summer 2006 or maybe Christmas 2006. It's a reality after being just sort of this phantom idea. I think it is really gonna happen.
What's more, Variety says that Matt Groening and James L. Brooks are "leading a team of writers in actively developing the animated big screen feature." We're also told that work began on the film "a few months ago, after 20th Century Fox's film division hammered out deals with key writers."
The Simpsons on the big screen? Woohoo!
Summer of 2006? D'oh!

Just kidding. We just didn't have a mean "Use the search button" reply yet so I thought I might throw in one, albiet sarcastically.
