Exactly, and in that order . . .
Voted for Punch Drunk Love. My favorite "typical" Sandler film is Billy Madison.

Worst: Anger Management. I couldn't even finish it.
punch-drunk love will probably be the best film he'll ever be in for awhile.

Happy madison is his funniest.

WHERE THE HELL IS WIDESCREEN DVD OF THIS ALREADY????!!!!!
is it possible to vote none for sandler ? :P
This poll is kind of a sham, in that only one of the films has a celebrated director, and, as such, is easily the best film (and I didn't much like it). The other films are made by such household names as Tamra Davis (Billy Madison, Half Baked, Crossroads), Dennis Dugan (Happy Gilmore, Beverly Hills Ninja, Big Daddy, Brain Donors!!!) and Frank Coraci (Waterboy and.....Wedding Singer) (yes, I referenced IMDB as I did not immediately have this vital information committed to memory).

Now, given that Sandler is a comedian of a specific niche and will NEVER break out of that niche, I will vote for my favorite "laugh at the obnoxious a-hole (who I can't believe makes 10 million or so a picture) in spite of myself" film.

No need to tone it down, so Wedding Singer and PDL go out the window. No, we want full-fledged, unadulterated Sandler. Since I don't much like him (after seeing Waterboy, one of my least favorite films OF ALL TIME), I haven't seen Anger Management, or that Daddy one (and forget about Deeds - Gary Cooper would never forgive me). Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison? Those fit the bill.

I have go with Billy Madison where Sandler shows his impressive dramatic range by maturing from a 1st-grader to a 12th grader in the course of 89 short, yet riveting, minutes.
Billy Madison got my vote.
Closing. I've asked smirnoffski to keep his polls to 1x week.
