I would've picked "Traffic" if it was in the poll.

Of the choices there, "Wall Street". Because greed is good.

I found his movie, The Perfect Murder, to be the most entertaining. But not sure if that's his best performance.

Where's the movie that won him the Oscar: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

He was surprisingly good in Wonder Boys.

My first impulse was romancing the stone since he's so goddam funny and himself in that picture,

but in 2000, I believe he gave his best, most finely nuanced performance to date. Wonderboys.

The War of the Roses - one of the most underrated movies around.
i agree.
one of the best films from that decade.

he gave a good performance in WB, but the film i like him n the best would probably be Coma.
i saw the film for the first time last yr, and can't get over how 'contemporary' this film and its themes are.
for a film that is over 25 yrs old, its aged remarkably well.

The reason why Traffic is not an option is because Michael Douglas' role is not as cheif as his other films.

Keep the responses comin and let's get this poll up to 100 votes!

Definitely War of the Roses, followed by Wall Street.

I know what you mean, I wish he didn't die in the end, even though I'm sure that if Schumacher and Douglas really wanted they could've made a sequel.

D-FENS! D-FENS!
