Requiem for a Dream and Spun.
SPR and Schindlers would be excellent, as they kind of show different sides of the same conflict, but damn depressing nonetheless. |

As for another good double feature, how about Gandhi and Sexy Beast. The two sides of Ben Kingsley. |

Originally posted by rushmore223 You include PCU, but your waiting on OLD SCHOOL? I can't stand PCU, there has to be a better example of that genre from the 90's. Secondly, Old School wasn't really about the college experience . . . it was about a bunch of men who were having mid-life crises and reacting to that by trying to gain their college experience back. While taking place in a college environment, I really have trouble calling it a "college movie" Finally, and more personally, I also think that I identified more with the characters in PCU because that was the time when I was in college. There are very few characters in that movie who I could not directly compare to people that I knew while at school. Sorry for the hijack . . . you may have your thread back now . . . ;) |
I always thought "Pecker" and "Snatch" would make a good double feature.
