Will Godsend be edited??

Godsend (2003)
Lions Gate Films
PG-13 Rated PG-13 for violence including frightening images, a scene of sexuality and some thematic material.

Heres a 4 minute clip of the picture. It includes sex and nudity (don't you just love how the sex scenes are the ones that "leak" online?) that is quite above a pg 13 IMO. This sex scene looks quite R to me. Think they might have had to cut this scene down for the pg 13? Just wondering.

The movie itself seems interesting. I loved the trailer yet the clip didn't do much for me. well, besides the...ya you know.

When Jessie (Romijn-Stamos) and Paul’s (Kinnear) eight year old son Adam is tragically killed on his birthday, Richard (De Niro), a doctor on the forefront of genetic research, befriends his former student Jessie and her husband at the height of their mourning. He leads the couple in a desperate attempt to reverse the rules of nature and clone their son. The experiment is successful and under Richard’s watchful eye, Adam grows into a healthy and happy young boy, until his 8th birthday. After his birthday, things go horribly wrong. The “new” Adam begins to suffer from night terrors and frightening flashbacks as a sinister personality begins to emerge. Jessie and Paul are terrified of their own son and his cold, vacant stare…

It will be edited. Dvd will probably be R rated though.

As long as it gets a PG-13. We couldn't possibly have an adult-oriented suspense/thriller that was R-rated.

Re: Will Godsend be edited??

roftl

My girlfriend's sister goes to school in NYC and recently saw Nine on the Great White Way. We had a short chat about Uncle Jesse's performance on stage. hehehe

It must suck to be forever known as Uncle Jessie.
