Gigli was hands down the worst movie I watched recently (what was Al Pacino thinking?), but LXG comes in a close second.

I completely agree with this. Completely awful. Could watch LXG ten times and not be as angry as this movie made me.

Well, I FINALLY saw Brian De Palma's Scarface with Al Pacino this past weekend after putting it off for ages. This unintentional comedy would have to be the worst film I've seen recently, I'll give my reasons at some point soon.

TOTALLY agree with you on this one! Although not the worst movie I've seen recently (or ever), it was just so mediocre at best. Walking out I was like "WHAT are all the critics raving about!?" "It's a Wonderful Life" meets "Miracle on 34th Street"!? Puh! Hardly. And I'm stunned it's made over $150 million (and counting). Sad sad sad.

Anger Management. It was just painful to watch, and I shut it off not even halfway through. Awful, awful, awful. I hope Jack picks better films than this in the future.

Maybe I was the only person on this forum who saw "The Cat in the Hat", but it was like throwing away money. My wife wanted to see it, so I went with her and my 2 kids.

I would have been a great rental to watch inside on a rainy day when we could not go outside to play.

A few friends were planning on watching a movie a couple nights ago, and we thought it might be kind of fun to rent Gigli, just to see if it really was as bad as everyone's been saying it is.

It was.

Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger IV

...had its moments, but it really was godawful. Not sure if that was on purpose.

Teknolust

...female geneticist creates three clones of herself which need male sperm (!!!) in order to survive, meanwhile a strange virus renders impotent the men one of the clones has been sleeping with. And I think this was supposed to be a serious movie. All I know is it wasted Tilda Swinton. :f

Not to single you out necessarily wendersfan, but seriously.

Do some of you not even watch trailers or have any idea of what kind of movie you are going to go see?

Did you not even see the first two LOTR movies?

SEriously, I can understand if someone went to see a movie where the trailer was inaccurate and represented the movie in a totally different light, but something like LOTR which was EXACTLY in the same vein as the first two.... I just don't get it. Maybe it is the internet trend of trying to go against the grain all of the time or something.

Back on topic though.

I guess the worst movie I have seen recently would have to be Eight Crazy Nights. Adam Sandler's voice of the old man was the most grating thing I have ever heard.

Oh Where have you gone Billy Madison?

I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or in this case a movie by its trailer, but I weed out movies based on the trailers, mainly because I don't have much time to go to theaters. Due to this I avoid most movies that I think will suck and will have to vote Revolutions, although I don't think it was bad, just a bit of a letdown.
