Yep - he was the fat pirate corsair when they first mention the ships coming up from the south.
It was pretty obvious to me, even though he was all dressed up in "pirate" regalia... he wasn't hidden, he was definitely the "centerpiece" for about 2 seconds.
Or was that Bandoman?

I guess the cute little girl that gasps when Bilbo is telling the story in FotR is his daughter then? I was watchng TT on Starz tonight and I noticed the girl in the caves was the same one, only she had blond hair this time (guess I realized cuz I just watch the EE of FotR on Stars too ) .. and then I though, wait... she was in gondor too! Kinda cool that he puts his kids in there. I heard Vigo's son was a few different soldiers in the battle scenes too, and Sean Astin's daughter is Sam's little girl that runs to him at the very end of RotK.
While I'm on the topic, sort of, after seeing all 3 LotR movies so much this past week, I noticed that was reused... it's this girly-man scream that some soldiers have used when falling to their death. The first was an elf in TTT, and then twice in RotK, one was a bad guy falling off an elephant I think, and I forget the other but I remember hearing it twice in RotK... that's another thing that stuck out for me
good gawd, i feel like a trekkie

That "girly-man scream " is called the "Wilelm." It's also used at least once in Two Towers. Not sure if it was in Fellowhip or not. It was recorded a western serial back in the 30s, and has been used in thousands of movies ever since. It's even used several times in the Star Wars trilogy.
I noticed another cameo too--when Pippen lights the first beacon of Gondor, one of the soldiers that looks up at the fire is Christian Rivers, one of the fx guys. If you've watched any of the docs in either extended edition, you'll immediately recognize him.
