I like Costner as a matter of fact. He can easily be made fun of at times when he makes movies like The Postman and Dragonfly, but overall, I enjoy his movies.

Open Range
Field of Dreams
Bull Durham
Thirteen Days
A Perfect World
The Untouchables
Silverado

are all great flicks

Yes . . . back before he realized he had an ego. Honestly, he really seems a lot more loose back then. Much more free and ready to get into a character. At least in Silverado . . .

So, IMHO, a couple of duds but overall a fine, fine track record - regardless of box office receipts. Harrison Ford would kill to have been in this many good movies, considering he hasn't made a good film since AIR FORCE ONE.
Please let this be a joke, I think Costner has made many fine films but Ford's track record speaks for itself.

Star Wars trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy
Blade Runner
American Graffiti
Witness

Don't forget Presumed Innocent.

However, and in all honesty, I am far more tired of Ford than I am of Costner.
