Why do people bash/hate Kevin Costner?

I like Costner as a matter of fact. He can easily be made fun of at times when he makes movies like The Postman and Dragonfly, but overall, I enjoy his movies.

Honestly, he really seems a lot more loose back then. Much more free and ready to get into a character. At least in Silverado . . .
