Spy Movies

Hello! I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions for good spy related movies. Two titles I really liked were Spy Game and The Recruit. Thanks a lot!

There's a little-known series featuring a character named James Bond. Yeah, you've probably never heard of it, but the movies are actually pretty good.

I'm rather partial to the cheesy Bond "knock offs" like the Flint and Silencer series'.

Here are few off the top of my head that I would suggest :
The Falcon and the Snowman
Sneakers
Any of Hitchcock's spy thrillers Sabotage, Notorious, Topaz, Secret Agent, Foreign Correspondent
The Eiger Sanction
The Cassandra Crossing
Where Eagles Dare

Not out on DVD yet, but The Spy Who Came In From The Cold (1965) starring Richard Burton is a great spy flick.

For something a little different, try The Tailor of Panama.

I guess I'm one of the few who liked both of those movies then.

These are some of my favorites that aren't in the James Bond style.

La Femme Nikita (Luc Besson, 1990)
Three Days of the Condor
Alec Guiness as George Smiley in the 1980s TV versions of the LeCarre novels. Amazon lists Smiley's People but isn't selling it.
