A fun link to check out for those of you who visit's Harry's snake oil show. Warning not exactly worksafe and a little blue, but lots of Removed Malicious Url which seems to be having a serious impact on the systems of those who click on it!

This is one of Something Awful's greatest fake pages yet. Brilliant stuff.

For those who don't know, SA does this every month or so. If you check their main site (which can be accessed by clicking anywhere on the fake page) you can find an archive of all the "fake SA"s they have done. The last one had a script that made all your CD/DVD drives open on their own. It got a bit irritating after a while.

Something Awful rules.

You guys might as well go down to the leaky cauldron and start screaming out Lord Voldemort's name.

SA is one of those "Site-who-can-not-be-named" sites.

Why is that? They're a little weird, but they're not exactly telling how to make bombs out of matchsticks and tennis balls or selling kiddie porn.

there are a few sites who's contents would rather not be leaked out and images not be leeched from. Linking a SA image to this site would lead to a very undesired image shown. a sort of unwritten law in a sense. Not sure how strong it is in practice now. ;

funny stuff. I've never seen the draw of aintitcool so this was hilarious. My biggest gripe is their layout so naturally the funniest one for me was:

Rumor brewing about LORD OF THE RINGS DVD set so major that we may have to turn to science to develop a LARGER FONT!!!!!!!

The mods and admins haven't come to a consensus on SA being a "don't mention it here" site... there are others that we have come to a consensus on. You should definitely not leech any SA images, though.

If you're unsure about whether or not we enforce something here, maybe you should just let the mods handle it.

I rather enjoyed...

What sort of panties does Vic Tayback's widow wear? FIND OUT
And if I posted something that doesn't make the mods happy, I certainly apologize and plead ignorance, I thought it was cool. I did try to warn in my inital post that it wasn't quite work or family safe, but I'm sorry if anyone got burned.

So what does this site do if you link to them? I'm getting a persistant pop up that's causing my CD-ROM to open. Is it because of this? What did these pricks infect me with?
