The most overrated film I can recall is Brokeback Mountain.
I've overheard people talking about it that were puzzled at all the hype surrounding this one. They thought it was a little slow and didn't see the big deal (overhyped). They thought it was "ok", but "not as good as they'd expected" based on all the hype.... and that seems to be the definition of overrated.

Randy! It should be expected, since everybody's opinions vary wildly, but I tend to disagree with most of the movies listed, I enjoyed about 90% of them.
