Whats your favorite Rocky movie?

Mine's gotta be Rocky IV.
Rocky III is pretty good too.

I have to choose Rocky I. It was a great story and very inspirational.

Cut me Mick!

Rocky I in terms of film quality. Tie between Rocky III and IV in terms of entertainment value - some of the best soundtracks and training montages in modern cinematic history!

Rocky of course is the best of the lot. Hands down, bar none. That being said, lets examine the second best Rocky film:

The next best of the 5 is Rocky III. A great song, Mr T doing what he does best - being a badass, and a solid story.

Rocky IV on the other hands, is an all time Bad Movie Classic - mostly because it's the best Evil Russian Menace film of the 80's. Better than Invasion USA, better than Red Dawn, and way better than Rambo 3 - this thing is the pinnacle of over the top America Fights The Communist Threat and Saves The World attitude that personified the 1980s. Sure it's cheesy as hell, but it's fun.

Even though I've got part III entirely memorized, I'd have to say that part I is the most special.
At least that one mentioned some real-life boxers like Jack Dempsey,Joe Fraizer, and Rocky Marciano.

4 gets my vote, mostly because it had the best fight and the best training montage. Plus, Apollo dies--I remember the absolute shock when I was watching the movie for the first time.

Reporter: "Yes, predictions"

III and IV are great fun, and on a given day one of those could be my "favorite," but yeah, Rocky is by far the best film of the lot. If I'm in the mood for a truly great and classic film, Rocky does it for me. If I want some cheesy fight montages and great 80s flare, then III or IV.

I think the original Rocky is the best bunch of the bunch, but Rocky 3 is the most fun.

I'm amazed that any of the films other than the first would get even one vote.

If the poll was about the BEST movie (as in terms of quality) I don't think many film fans would argue that Rocky I wins hands down. But we are talking favorite here. Not much can compete with the training montage and subsequent end fight in both III and IV for shear popcorn flick cheesy goodness.

I know the poll said favorite. I stand by my amazement.

I guess I'm not that much of a sucker for cheese.
