CAN YOU recommend a movie for a newbie?

I am looking to rent 2 horror movies this weekend and dont know where to start.

1. I want to watch a very very very scary movie, I am not a fan of sub titles so that is out, otherwise I am wide open. I guess my question is. What is the scariest movei ever? I know its subjective, but I dont have a clue.

2. I would like to rent somthing that is scary, and has some humor and lots of breasts!

Thanks for your help.

You sound like a good candidate for CineSchlock-O-Rama

thanks, but, it appears that 'audition' is in japanese only and subtitles distract from my viewing pleasure!

Audition is also not a horror movie.. well other than the horror of having to sit through it.

I wish I could remember the name of the movie but it's like a demon is summonned to a girls sleepover and he ends up screwing them. And he is an animated character.

You want scary AND tits? Hmm.. that's hard to say since I don't find the Jason/Michael/Freddy type of movies to be scary.

The Thing is a scary film. It does have an all-male cast but Wilford Brimley is in it and he has a nice pair.

The Others was pretty scary.
What Lies Beneath was pretty scary.
The Ring was scary. (I found the Japanese version to be more scary, but that's probably cuz I saw it first... the US version is in english, so you'll probably wanna watch that)

I just asked my roommate to list what he thinks are the 3 scariest movies... I present his answers:
Blair Witch
Cujo
Legally Blonde 2

Well, here's a movie that is scary, has some humor, and lots of breasts (along with plenty of legs too!).

---> check it out <---

This is hard for me to answer, as I don't really get scared by movies anymore.

For number one, I recommend the following:

The Thing : Holds up surprisingly well over time. Scared me shitless as a kid. More suspense than outright horror.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre : It's a classic for a reason. Never lets up.
The Exorcist : regarded by many to be the scariest movie of all time.

For number two ... pick up any Friday the 13th, Halloween or Nightmare on Elm Street, or just about any horror movie from 1982-1989.

I don't think TCM is scary... it wasn't scary to me when i first saw it either. I do think The Changeling was pretty scary back in the day - don't know about anymore though. Alien scared the bejesus outta me as a kid, but saw it in theaters recently and it wasn't scary at all.

I think it's funny that the original poster wanted "lots of breasts", and we're all recommending The Thing...
