looking for good thanksgiving movies
it's my first year not going to home for thanksgiving so my b/f and will be doing everything ourselves. we would like to get a few thanksgiving movies to watch but all we can think of is planes, trains and automobiles and home for the holidays (holly hunter). any other suggestions???

I think a lot of different films feature the family eating Thanksgiving dinner, but the plots do not necessarily revolve around the holiday.

thanks for the suggestions so far. i realize there aren't too many. i didn't realize hannah and her sisters was one.
after going on IMDB i also found house of yes, and myth of fingerprints. how are these? are they really focused around thanksgiving???

The perennial Thanksgiving movies in the NYC area are Mighty Joe Young and King Kong (1933). Not that they have anything to do with Thanksgiving but like the parade, it's one of those Thanksgiving traditions at least in NY.
