Only getting "access forbidden".
Ok, nevermind...getting it now.
Looks pretty cool, although a tad videogamey. Reminds me of Gladiator with the colors.

It's short about 5 floating heads - what, I'm supposed to just guess who is in it by their names!?!?
It doesn't scream old-stylee Greek adventure to me - maybe because like, Brad Pitt, like, looks so totally modern and stuff, y'know?

Looking forward to this movie more than any other for a while now and this poster does nothing to change that. Ever since I got my first exposure to Greek mythology in 10th grade (unless my love of Monty Python and The Holy Grail since middle school counts) I've been waiting for a decent, big-budget movie on the Trojan War. I love the cast and just hope this one can deliver. After all I lost track of the number of times I read the Illiad.
On a related note, what covers the time after the Illiad. I could have sworn I read stuff covering the fall of Troy in my classics classes in college, but the Illiad closes before that moment. Is there one book/author who covered that portion of the war or was it just some minor works that I might have read in college that covered it? Thanks.

i saw the teaser before Revolutions. it looked great. a beautiful first shot with all the ships (triremes, to those in the know). i so hope it's as good as it can be.
plus Wolfgang Petersen is directing!
does anyone if its pg-13 or R? the bad news is that his last film, Perfect Storm, was pg-13. the good is that his 3 previous films to that were R.
its funny that IMDB attributes the writing to Homer (it should more be 'story by: Homer')
and i just saw that David Benoiff is writing. he wrote the great 25th Hour. plus, i usually find that films written by one person are better than teams of writers. a more unified vision, coherent story, so on.
cant wait until the Spring.

This movie totaly slipped under my radar until I saw the trailer last night. I gotta admit that the opening with hundreds and hundreds of ships looks pretty damn cool.
I might have to keep my eye on this one.
