Peter Pan- Anyone else anticipating this movie?

I've seen both trailers and it looks like it could be something really special. The previews show both alot of action and heart, plus a faithfulness to the book.
Any opinions on this one?

It looks alright. Jason Issacs is Hook, so I'm interested.

Personally I think Hook is the best film in Spielberg's entire filmography and I know many who agree.

This one definitely slipped under my radar, just watched both trailers. It looks like it could steal the Christmas crowd. And Jason Issacs is always fun to watch as the bad guy, looks the part of Captain Hook.

I think many would disagree as well. Especially since his filmography includes the Lost World

Regardless, i enjoyed Hook quite a bit but this movie doesnt really interest me. I'll wait for some reviews and more commercials.

I liked it too.

I've heard nothing about Peter Pan (until this thread, I never knew it was being made), so I'm not really looking forward to it, although that could change.

Hook was enjoyable. Not Spielberg's worst(TLW would be his worst, IMO), but not his best either.

Maybe this will be good. But my first reaction upon seeing the trailer was, "a new Peter Pan...Why?"
