I was wondering if anyone could clue me in as to when and where the best annual SciFi/Horror/Fantasy film festivals happen (worldwide). I know they are more prevailent and the best happen in Europe. I just don't know what they are called.
Any info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

The Fantasia film fest is the best (if nor the only one) of it's kind in North America. It started out as mostly Asian film oriented and has now widened it's scope to include films from all over the world. It's in Montreal and typically runs from mid July to mid August.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go to Fantasia one of these years (maybe next year if things work out).
