Starting Monday? How odd. I would figure that they would attach it on a stinker release on a friday.

Actually, the report says it will play with Secondhand Lions starting this Friday, and will be available online the following Monday.

I'm counting the days... (but if the previous LOTR trailers are any clue, this new trailer will be in the pantheon of the greats! )

was watching some FoxNews and on the G-Block Shep showed a bit of the ROTK trailer, didn't see much but it was looking good.

Whats the expected run length of the movie?

The expected run length isn't finalized yet, but is expected to be somewhere between 3 to 3 1/2 Hours.

It has asian writing scrolling on the right like that through the whole thing. it's decent quality. I'm sure they will get it back up soon.

Wow, good thing I'm going to see Secondhand Lions tomorrow cuz that clip was so dark I couldn't even see a good portion of what was going on.

very cool. can't wait to see this, looks to be the best of the 3.

btw, what happened to christopher lee's character? he was barely in two towers and isn't anywhere to be seen in any of the trailers for rotk.

keep in mind that i haven't read any of the books so please no spoilers. i'd just like to know if he's in it. thanks

Since A. you don't want any spoilers from the book
and B. no one has seen the movie yet

You question is unanswerable

tonytapez, this movie will focus more on countering Sauron than Saruman, hence less screen time.

Also, a lot of characters just didn't make it into the trailer ... including Gimli! Several Legolas shots, though. (Gee, I wonder why?)

IT took me a whole day with the wireless connection always dropping, but I finally have it. Can't wait for the "official" trailer on monday. This version the picture quality was a little too dark.

I refuse to get the sub-par quality file, no matter how excited I am about the movie. Since I don't want to see Secondhand Lions either, all I can do is wait about 24 more hours I guess...

Best Teaser I've ever Seen

My oh my. My mouth was dry and my heart was in my throat throughout the teaser. The anticipation is excruciating. I've read the book a couple of times so I know everything thats going to happen. But to actually see clips from the Pelennor Fields, the Black Gates of Mordor, and Cirith Ungol (at least thats what I think I saw) is like "seeing it for the first time". The opening POV shot of the Nazguls/Fell Beasts over Minas Tirith was breathtaking.

DLed the full trailer this morning, finally the queue over at TORN seems to have slackened a little. It's fairly shitty quality, but at least you can see it a day early.

****ing sweet. Did you get a load of that massive Rohan army? Galdalf galloping with light blazing from his staff when he rides out to rescue Faramir? Nazgul swooping down on horsemen and destroying them by the dozens? Narsil reforged? Shelob? Holy f'ing crap. This trailer is even better than the one for TTT. ROTK is going to be the best movie of the three, mark my words.
