Aladdin on IMAX

Does anoybody know if this is still happening this Christmas? I haven't heard a word about it since seeing the trailer on Lion King last year. I hope they didn't change thier minds.

I'm pretty sure it is still happening, as long as the Platinum Release schedule remains unchnaged there's no reason to think otherwise.

Aladdin was the last movie my grandfather went to see. I might have to take him again. The crazy old guy will probably have none of it but its worth a try. I mean it is a huge freakin screen after all.

I have caught all the Disney re-release IMAX films so far and I love it. I even had to drive an hour and a half to get there. Beauty and the Beast was great, but Lion King was phenomenal. I am eagerly awaiting this one.

Wasn't Aladdin suppose to be released in IMAX Theatres on Jan. 1?

I thought Disney was suppose to rerelease Aladdin on IMAX on Jan. 1 like they did with Beauty and the Beast and Lion King... And I thought Aladdin was suppose to come out next... so is it coming out to IMAX?

Actually the two previous were on Christmas, as was Aladdin I thought.

Oh well, the closest IMAX that shows movies (1 hour and half away) closed in the fall. Now the closest one is almost 3 hours away.

Disney instead released Young Black Stallion on IMAX at Christmas time, their first of new films created specifically for IMAX. That and IMAX theaters are already crowded with that and Matrix Revolutions (which runs almost 2 and a half hours).

IMAX's website still lists Aladdin as coming out in 2004 to IMAX theaters, so who knows...
